SLOW MEETINGS BY THE SEA

A calm, seaside setting for leadership off‑sites and executive retreats.

At Villa Seaview, meetings are given what they rarely have: silence, space and uninterrupted time to think clearly together. Here, the rhythm is slower, the environment natural and the mind free from constant notifications—creating the best conditions for meaningful conversations and focused decisions

What is a Slow Meeting?

A Slow Meeting is a meeting day designed for depth instead of hurry. Fewer agenda items, more focus, more real conversation – and time to let ideas land.

The surroundings do a big part of the work: the sea, forest and quiet help people arrive, breathe and be present. We take care of the spaces, hosting and simple details so that you can concentrate on strategy, leadership, relationships and decisions.

For leadership teams & small off-sites

lla Seaview is best suited for small groups who benefit from being away from the office: leadership and management teams, owner teams, boards, project teams and creative groups. Villa Seaview is ideal for groups of 6–10 people, offering space for focused discussions, shared meals and relaxed time together without distractions, learn more on our stay page.

Typical uses include strategy days, leadership work, culture work, annual planning, deep-dive workshops and executive coaching retreats. The setting works both for one-day meetings and for longer off-sites with one or two overnight stays.

Spaces & setting

Meetings at Villa Seaview take place in living-room style spaces rather than in traditional office meeting rooms. There is a main space for shared work, smaller areas for breakout conversations and of course the seaside sauna, terrace and surrounding nature as part of the day.

Big screens and Wi-Fi are available when needed, but we encourage guests to limit devices and notifications during the day. Coffee, tea and snacks are served in a calm, unhurried way so that the flow of the conversation is not constantly interrupted.

The villa’s open living area — a bright, shared space connected to the kitchen and overlooking the sea.
The fireplace lounge with a billiard table — a relaxed space for informal breaks, casual conversations and unwinding together.

A typical Slow Meeting day

Every team is different, but many Slow Meeting days follow a similar rhythm:

  • arrival, coffee and a quiet start by the sea
  • focused work block in the morning with no interruptions
  • lunch and a short walk or break outside
  • second work block in the afternoon for decisions and next steps
  • sauna and seaside time to let the day’s content sink in
  • dinner

We’re happy to help you shape a schedule that matches your agenda, energy and season – whether you prefer more structure or more open space.

A moment of celebration — freshly poured glasses to begin or end a meaningful day together.

Quiet conversation by the fire — the essence of a slow meeting: space, warmth and unhurried presence.

Overnight meetings & executive retreats

For deeper work, leadership and retreat-style meetings, we recommend adding one or two overnight stays. Staying overnight allows time for reflection, unhurried conversations, rest and new ideas to emerge without having to rush back to everyday life immediately.

Executive retreats and leadership team off-sites can combine Slow Meetings with sauna, nature walks, simple outdoor activities and time to be together in a more human way than in the office. Most teams enjoy a quiet walk during breaks — ideas on our Activities page.
