Sea, sleep and slow luxury

Sea, silence and space to breathe are at the heart of a stay at Villa Seaview. Our aim is that you arrive, exhale and very quickly feel that there is nothing you “have” to do.

We keep the atmosphere small-scale and unhurried, focus on sleep quality and simple, good breakfast, and make sure there is always time for sauna, forest walks and quiet moments by the water. Slow luxury here means calm surroundings, thoughtful details and hosting that gives you both privacy and presence when you need it.

Rooms & sleep quality

The villa has only a handful of individually styled rooms, each with comfortable beds, soft textiles and calming colours. Some rooms have sea views, others look towards the forest and garden – all are meant to feel like a quiet, grounded space to sleep and rest.

We pay attention to bedding, light, temperature and silence, and are happy to help you create your own evening rhythm with sauna, tea and reading if that supports your sleep. If you have particular wishes around pillows, blankets or room setup, let us know in advance and we’ll see what we can do.

The downstairs family room — spacious, calm and ideal for couples, friends or small families who appreciate comfort and quiet sleep.
The upstairs double room — soft light, clean Nordic design and a restful atmosphere for a good night’s sleep.
The villa’s separate apartment — a private, self-contained space with its own entrance, perfect for longer stays or extra privacy.

Sauna, spa & sea dips

On the ground floor, next to the cosy fireplace lounge, you’ll find our small indoor spa with a traditional sauna, an 8‑person hot tub and a steam sauna. From the spa you can walk straight out onto the terrace to cool off – and down the steps to our jetty for a refreshing dip in the sea.

By the shoreline there is also a separate, wood‑heated beach sauna with a small lounge area and fireplace. From the beach sauna you can go directly into the water and back again. Right beside it is Villa Seaview’s well‑equipped summer kitchen, a lovely place to cook and eat outdoors during the warmer months.

The villa’s indoor spa sauna — warm, quiet and designed for calm, restorative heat sessions.
The spa entrance with shower and plunge pool — a peaceful transition space before and after sauna.
The steam sauna — gentle, enveloping warmth that supports deep relaxation.
The seaside sauna with terrace and jetty — a classic Finnish sauna experience right by the water.
Rantasauna
Seaside sauna — quiet views, fresh air and space to cool down between sessions.
The indoor spa hot tub — warm, relaxing bubbles in a calm, sheltered space connected to the villa’s sauna and spa area.

Breakfast & local flavours

Villa Seaview’s B&B breakfast is built around fresh, local ingredients. Whenever possible we use organic products and raw materials from nearby producers.

Mornings start with homemade bread – soft rolls and sourdough baked from local organic spelt flour – alongside fresh vegetables and berries from nearby farms, organic free-range eggs, our own granola and coffee from a local roastery. Breakfast is enjoyed at an unhurried pace, looking out at the sea and often sharing easy conversation with other guests. The atmosphere is usually relaxed, warm and full of small, joyful moments.

Our breakfast buffet — homemade bread, organic ingredients and local flavours prepared fresh each morning.
Tomatoes from a nearby farm — fresh, seasonal and full of flavour.
Beautiful seasonal ingredients — tomatoes, berries and herbs that inspire simple, nourishing dishes.

Add-on experiences

If you’d like to add more to your stay, there are many options within easy reach: forest hikes and lake walks in Teijo National Park, cycling and gravel routes, seaside sauna rituals, canoeing and SUP, golf at Meri-Teijo Golf and seasonal experiences like berry picking or winter walks.

Around Villa Seaview and in the nearby ironwork villages you’ll also find:

  • Historic ironwork villages of Teijo and Mathildedal with cosy restaurants, cafés and small village shops
  • Teijo Bike Park for downhill and trail riding, plus signed cycling routes in Teijo National Park (you can also rent a bike and explore the area and the park on two wheels)
  • Minigolf and padel in Mathildedal, a golf course at Meri-Teijo Golf and a small animal farm in Teijo
  • Lakes with canoe rentals, beautiful lake swimming spots and a network of marked hiking trails in and around the national park

You can decide your programme day by day, or we can help you plan a gentle, slow-paced itinerary that matches your energy and the season. For more ideas, take a look at our Activities page.

Booking & practical info

We have noticed that the most satisfying stays at Villa Seaview are usually a little longer. Our ideal rhythm is three to four nights: this gives you enough time to arrive, let your nervous system settle, enjoy the villa and its sauna & spa, and explore both Teijo National Park and the nearby ironwork villages without rushing. The historic ironwork villages are easy to visit — read more on our Teijo & Historic Villages page.

Shorter stays are of course possible, and you are welcome for one or two nights as well. However, experience has shown that guests who stay a little longer tend to leave more rested, grounded and happy with their time here. It fits the slow spirit of Villa Seaview: instead of quick check-ins and ticking off sights, you get to notice the small details, follow the changing light on the sea and get a feel for local village life and culture.

Most individual B&B stays can be booked directly via Booking.com during our summer season. Outside that period the villa is reserved for private group stays, wellbeing retreats and Meetings / corporate off-sites. If you are planning a slightly longer stay, a special retreat or a small group visit, you’re very welcome to contact us and we’ll help you shape a stay that matches your timing, energy and the season. For arrival, parking and daily routines, see our Practical Info page.
